Background

I'm Keita Ohshiro, founder of KO WORKS LLC. I started this practice to give U.S. students and families a clear, English-speaking bridge to quality language study in Japan — especially for programs at Kudan Japanese Language School in Tokyo.

I'm a university lecturer, focused on helping students build real-world digital and professional skills. I also hold CPACC certification — useful in my teaching and consulting work, and a reflection of how I think about clear communication and inclusion.

Living and working on the U.S. East Coast, I'm in a time zone that works well for many American families. Whether you're weighing summer study, a longer stay, or something in between, I'm happy to talk through what Kudan offers and what might suit you.
